3M™ Double Coated Tape 9731 is a differential tape on a polyester (PET) film backing. On one side, a firm silicone adhesive delivers a good bond to silicone rubber, strong holding power to various silicone surfaces, wide-ranging temperature performance, and solvent resistance. 3M™ High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350 coats the other side for very high adhesion to various materials, excellent shear strength, and high temperature (350°F) and UV resistance. The combined strengths of these adhesives create an excellent option for when you need to bond silicone materials to a wide range of substrates. And the PET carrier adds dimensional stability and improved handling, which makes the converting process of die cutting and lamination even smoother.
