3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9472LE uses 3M™ High Strength Acrylic Adhesive 300LSE. At 5 mil thick, this transfer tape is ideal for applications requiring a thicker profile than the 3M™ 9471LE but still with premium performance. The adhesive reliably bonds to various similar and dissimilar materials such as metals, most plastics including low-surface-energy (LSE) plastics and power coatings, glass, and paper. The bond has a strong initial tack, excellent holding power, and anti-lifting properties that strengthen over time, performing well in a wide temperature range (-40°F to 300°F). It meets UL 969 and various automotive and OEM specifications. And the polycoated kraft liner streamlines die-cutting processes.
